GLOVIS America, Inc. is a third party logistics provider headquartered in Irvine, CA. Since our inception in 2002, our business has grown to support various areas within the supply chain management process in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The History of GLOVIS AMERICA

2001

  • Company is established as Hankook Logitech Co., Ltd.

2002

  • Company name changes to Glovis Co., Ltd. (GLOVIS short for GLObal VISion)
  • Glovis America, Inc. established

2003

  • Glovis Alabama, LLC. is established

2005

  • Operations at Montgomery, AL Vehicle Processing Center begin for Hyundai Motors

2007

  • Glovis Georgia established
  • Glovis America opens office near Atlanta in Duluth, GA

2009

  • Glovis Canada established

2010

  • Operations at West Point, GA Vehicle Processing Center begin for Kia Motors

2013

  • Oil trading platform established
  • Glovis America launches Fuel Distribution business

2015

  • ISO 9001 certification awarded for Port Hueneme, CA
  • Glovis America becomes an authorized Distributor Licensee of Sinclair brand
  • Glovis America signs licensing agreement with Sinclair Oil Corporation for Fuel Distribution to Sinclair gas stations
  • Glovis America brands in first Sinclair station

2016

  • Glovis America opens office in Fort Lee, New Jersey

2017

  • Glovis America opens 5th Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) in Shreveport LA

2019

  • Glovis America launches Global Expedited Transportation (G.E.T.) freight companies to increase the stability of ground transportation business
  • Glovis launches Americas Headquarters (AHQ), domiciled in Irvine, California, to oversee all Glovis companies in the Western Hemisphere
  • Glovis America opens state-of-the-art body shop at VPC in Philadelphia, PA.

 

 

2020

  • Glovis America awarded contract by new EV manufacturer for finished vehicle delivery.
  • Glovis America achieves SmartWay certification
  • Glovis America achieves significant OEM vehicle processing and shipping benchmarks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Glovis America acquires auto hauling company Extreme Transportation, Inc
